Abacus is an ancient mathematical tool used for fast and accurate calculation it helps in right brain development and improves overall performance

The Abacus (or Soroban as it is called in Japan) is an ancient mathematical instrument used for calculation. The Abacus is one of the world’s first real calculating tools – and early forms of an Abacus are nearly 2500 years old. The word Abacus is derived from the Greek "Abax" meaning counting board.

Vedic Mathematics

Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of Indian Mathematics which was rediscovered from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by Sri Bharati Krsna Tirthaji (1884-1960). According to his research all of mathematics is based on sixteen Sutras, or word-formulae. For example, 'Vertically and Crosswise` is one of these Sutras. These formulae describe the way the mind naturally works and are therefore a great help in directing the student to the appropriate method of solution.

Perhaps the most striking feature of the Vedic system is its coherence. Instead of a hotchpotch of unrelated techniques the whole system is beautifully interrelated and unified: the general multiplication method, for example, is easily reversed to allow one-line divisions and the simple squaring method can be reversed to give one-line square roots. And these are all easily understood. This unifying quality is very satisfying; it makes mathematics easy and enjoyable and encourages innovation.

The simplicity of Vedic Mathematics means that calculations can be carried out mentally (though the methods can also be written down). There are many advantages in using a flexible, mental system. Pupils can invent their own methods; they are not limited to the one 'correct' method. This leads to more creative, interested and intelligent pupils.

Vedic Maths program is aimed at developing the mental arithmetic skill of children; this program will be of 4 levels comprising additions, subtraction, multiplication, division, algebra, geometry & trigonometry, etc

Cursive Writing (from Latin curro, currere, cucurri, cursum) is any style of handwriting that is designed for writing notes and letters quickly by hand. In the Arabic, Latin, and Cyrillic writing systems, the letters in a word are connected, making a word one single complex stroke.

Cursive Writing

More and more schools are teaching cursive writing from the start, with children learning a style of handwriting which will be very easy to join later. Often the style taught includes entry strokes, and children are encouraged to join their letters as soon as they are able to.

One of the problems with this is that it is very hard to find affordable computer fonts to enable teachers, parents and children to create text for in a style which matches their school handwriting style. There are a few commercial fonts available, but they are often too expensive for parents to use at home. There are lots of free handwriting fonts on the web which can be downloaded, but I have yet to find one that exactly matches the style which I learnt at school, never mind the newer styles.

So we've decided to try and solve this problem by creating handwriting fonts for schools in cursive styles. We have joined fonts in solid, dotted, dotted with handwriting guidelines, dotted with arrows and outline styles. We also offer a system for creating fully joined handwriting using Microsoft Word.

Cursive writing is a skilled handwriting improvement program, which is designed to improve the style and legibility of writing of the young and elders easily; this program will be of 3 levels.
